The Marty Wilson Jr. Art & Music Foundation Inc. is pleased to be accepting applications for the MWAMF Fine Arts Scholarship. Now $1000.00! The successful applicant must be a current student in good standing at any of the High Schools in Atlantic County (this includes Public, Private and Parochial) OR must be currently enrolled at an accredited 2 or 4 year college and a graduate of one of the High Schools in Atlantic County. Major may be music, art, any of the Performing, Fine or Related arts.
If you know a candidate who meets this criteria and is in good academic/disciplinary standing who actively participates in a Fine Arts Program (including but not limited to Mural Arts Program, School Play, Band, Choir or similar discipline.) at their current School, and wants to be considered by our Scholarship Committee, they must submit a completed application along with at least one letter of recommendation from a member of the Arts/Music faculty by June 4, 2012.
Applications and eligibility criteria are available at Guidance Offices of area High Schools and Colleges, by mail to MWAMF, Scholarship Program, PO Box 7025 Atlantic City, NJ, 08404 or by email to martywilson@artsinac.org or at our website: www.artsinac.org.
Incomplete or late applications cannot be considered.
Winning Applicant will be announced in October 2012 and will receive
a $1000.00 Scholarship.
The MWAMF is a non-profit organization supporting local programs for kids in art & music!

A South Jersey radio personality was recognized in a special way.
The Marty Wilson Jr. Art and Music Foundation proudly recognized Barbara Altman, host on News Talk 1400 WOND for her many years of dedicated and devoted support.
She was presented Sunday with the 2011 Marty Award at the 5th Annual Harvest Brunch for the Arts.
Local dignitaries were in attendance for the special ceremony including Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson, Assemblyman Vince Polistina and Freeholder Alisa Cooper .
